A tarot reading can be a little intimidating if you’ve never had a reading before. There’s nothing to be afraid of from a reading on tarotlive.org. Our readers are experienced, good, caring people. Your reader will guide you through your reading and listen to any concerns.

The Tarot is an ancient means of divination which gives you an  understanding of how you came to be where you are now, what is happening in your present and what you can expect from the immediate, short and long term term future, aslo what is crossing, your options and your opportunities.

We are not going to tell you that you are going to drop dead tomorrow or that it's all doom and gloom. you always have options and hope. Sometimes it dosn't give you the answer you want but it will give you the answer you need. Nothing is set in stone; you are master of your own destiny and can choose a different course for your life at any time. The wonderful thing about the Tarot is that it helps us see and clear the way to our best possible future.

What Happens In A Reading?

The Question

Your reading begins by my asking you what question you want to ask. YAs you haven't had a readng before I usually suggest a general reading for the next year. However if you have a specific question we will concentrate on that. I can guide you on thow to word your question to get the most from your spread. You don’t have to tell tme the question; you can keep it to yourself if you want to. There are no definite yes or no answers in the Tarot so ask open questions. These start, generally with the words:

Don’t ask complicated, multiple questions, keep it simple, you can ask further questions once the original question is answered. 

Concentrate on your question, when your mind is clear and you are ready, I will Shuffle your cards.

The Shuffle and Card Cuts 

While we both concentrate on your question as I shuffle the cards, remember you can see the cards as I shuffle them for you. When the cards are well mixed I put the cards down, as I run my hand up and down the pack you say when you want the cards cut, we will do this twice then put the three sets of cards back together in a different order.

The Spread

Once the cards are cut I will deali the spread and explain the meaning of each card, in relation to the other cards in the spread. Your reading will become clear and relevant to you as your reading goes on. I will hold the cards up so you can see them clearly and you can ask any questions you want to and discuss the spread as it unfolds.

At the outcome of the reading your question will be answered. If you have further questions about certain cards or your original question, I will give further relevant spreads.

Each reading and client is completely different, so although each spread tends to take an approximate time, we are not ruled by the clock so don't worry, if we run over the guide time given on the webstore there will be no extra charge.The cards often decide themselves that you have looked as far as possible at the moment. This will become clear as the same cards will start coming up over and over again.  

I will e-mail a photo and summary of your reading to you so you can print it out and refer to t in the coming weeks and months and if you have an questions regarding your reading once you have recieved the summary, just drop me a note on skype or e-mail.

All readings are private and confidential. I will not share any information you give on this site or during your reading with any third parties.

I always cleanse our cards and working space etc. between each reading.

From time to time, we will find that the cards come out as gobble de gook. This can be due to a number of factors. You may be unconsciously blocking your thoughts; it might just be a rotten internet signal or other factors. If this is the case, your will give you  an give you an unblocking exercise, reappoint for another time or will refund your fee in full.

The Tarot isn’t an exact science. Never take it too seriously or literally and enjoy it as a means of entertainment and a way of clarifying your thoughts. Relax and enjoy your this time you are investing in yourself.

Everything that passes between us during your reading is absolutely confidential. It helps to talk over your dilemmas and issues with me as your independant unbiased confidant.

 A Few Do's & Don't's during your reading. 

Don't ask me to read someone elses Tarot. All questions must relate to you. Your reading may tell you information about others in your life but I won't ask the cards for details of someone elses life. 

Don't ask me to make things happen for you.I read the Tarot, I don't cast spells etc.

Don't ask me to tell you if I have read for someone you know or about a reading for someone else. All readings are strictly confidential. 

Do take the advice the cards give you.

Do feel free to discuss your situation, I'm a good listener, use me a sounding board. Some clients want to keep everything to themselves others find that a burden shared is a burden halved and the better I understand your situation the better I can interpret your cards for you. What ever you choose to tell me will not affect the meaning of the cards. 

Do have an open mind and have fun, there may be a  tear during your reading but there will be a lot of laughs too. The Tarot is great therapy, enjoy it!
